So we have some gig dates again. We haven't played a real gig in Joburg for quite a while now, and so we're looking forward to playing here again. We also haven't played in Natal for nearly a year, so it's great to get some dates down there too in connection with AriseFest which is going to be awesome.

We have been practicing the new songs in preparation for studio, and this means that we're also really looking forward to trying some of them out live. It will at least give you a teeny glimpse of some of what's in store for album two.

So the gigs we have lined up for now are:
14 November: Pietermaritzburg, with the the Arrows and some other great bands from the area (venue to be confirmed.
21 November: Northfield Methodist in Benoni with The Exploits and Tomfoolish.
22 November: Moreletapark Gemeente, Pretoria – we'll be playing some songs at the evening service.
31 December: AriseFest at Midmar Dam, Howick – really looking forward to it!

Chris and I spent Saturday cleaning up the studio and make it shiny again – you have to start a project in a clean studio. The new songs are sounding better with every practice and we are seriously excited about the potential we feel this album has.
