Just to send out a happy Easter to everyone. I know it's a bit late, but hope you all had a fantastic long weekend.

I'm currently working through Romans, and this morning in my quiet time I was reading in Chapter 5. Verse 7-8 says "Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." In verse 10 it goes on to say "For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!"

We're all sinners, we've all been "enemies" with God. Sin seperates us from God, seperates us from life, so Jesus did the inconceivable that we might be reconciled to God and restored to relationship with Him which is what we were created for. We're only going to truly live when we live how we were created to, and we were created to be "tight" with God.

So just to encourage you all to get in there with God and pursue Him with all your heart and all your life. Seek to please Him in everything you do and walk in relationship with Him. That's where life is, that's what the work of the cross is for. It's not just a ticket to heaven, but it is the beginning of life here on earth.
