We were given a great opportunity to play at UJ (University of Johannesburg) this past Sunday; it's always special when we get the opportunity to play at universities. We were invited by a student church called "Wired" who hosted the annual service for res students this year, and it was also the churches first service on the campus.

After having a few difficulties with Alfred (our sound system) during sound check we were pretty tired when we finally got to put our instruments down for a breather before the service, but then we heard the noise of queing students in the hallway, and our energy reserves were quickly restored. There were about 1000 students at the service, a great way to start the year!

We really enjoyed our time there, and it's exciting and feels so good to be getting back into gigging after a break through December. Don't forget about the gig on 31 January at Rosebank Union.... Hope to see you there :)
